Dictation that shows what it cuts while you talk, and lets you put any of it back

Hold fn and talk. Wispr Flow’s bar waits at the bottom of the screen. While you talk: ten bars, and nothing else. No words, and no sign of what it will cut. Let go, and the clean reply lands all at once. What it cut, you never see. The same reply, dictated into the notch instead. Your words appear under the notch as you say them, and what it will cut is struck as soon as you have said it. Let go: the cuts close up, the reply is pasted, and the notch keeps a tick and the count, 6 changes. Point at the count, and every change it made is marked. As said brings every change back at once: exactly what you said. Clean puts them all away again. Point at a change and it says why. Said “really,” twice on purpose? One click puts it back. Sent, with “really,” kept: 5 changes. Say a list, and each item is numbered as you name it. The “and” before the last one is struck. Let go, and it is pasted as a list: four changes. The whole list is one change: point at any number, and one click puts back the sentence you said. One more, and it is a list again. Dates, times and room numbers turn violet as you say them… …and are written the way you would type them: four changes. Point at 3:30, and the chip shows what you said: three thirty. Every format is one click from as said. Every change was on screen as you said it.

Try it

  1. Hold the notch, then let go
  2. Point at “6 changes”
  3. Put a change back, or flip As said
  4. Click the reply, press Return

We made it to the next round of the pitch competition!

No way. That’s huge.

Five minutes on stage this time, then questions from the judges.

Then the numbers slide has to be airtight.

Agreed. I’ll tighten the market sizing tonight.

The new deck is due Sunday. Can we rehearse the pitch together this week?

Yes, let’s. I’ll check my week.

Delivered

Thursday or Friday both work. I can send the deck ahead if that helps.
